Our mission

To share the story of our food, from seed to harvest, introducing you to the people, places, and practices involved along the way.

Our philosophy

To provide you with a beautiful and thoughtful dining experience, while supporting our local food community. We could not do what we do without the people who farm, fish, ferment, brew and craft in this little corner of Connecticut. We look forward to welcoming you to our table.

Our team

In the kitchen is Chef/Partner Renee Touponce, a James Beard Award Finalist for Outstanding Chef 2024, and Best Chef Northeast 2023. Renee leads the culinary team at both Oyster Club & our sister restaurant, The Port of Call. Jade Ayala is the creative force behind the beverage programs at Oyster Club & The Port of Call.

The Treehouse is our casual, indoor/outdoor treetop oasis above the Mystic River. It’s an extension of Oyster Club, with the same amazing crew, sourcing philosophy and standards of hospitality, with a relaxed atmosphere and the ability to dine outside. It has a section that is tented, enclosed and heated on chilly days. Come up and enjoy the fresh air, year round, weather permitting!

Beginning Memorial Day - Labor Day, Treehouse is open 7 days a week for Lunch & Dinner, serving a Summer Shack menu • No reservations, walk-ins only • Enclosed tented section, heated on chilly days
